New York, NY, August 18, 2011 – As they grow, most brands strive to stay true to their roots. Still, that doesn’t mean that they can rest on their laurels. In an increasingly connected world, brands that achieve brand loyalty are employing technology solutions to create more touch points with target consumers. Working in the brand and retail space, DOOR3 has helped its clients do just that.

New York based company FreshDirect is one of the nation’s leading online food brands known for its convenient online grocery shopping website and home delivery services. When FreshDirect sought to expand its online operations, naturally it partnered with DOOR3 to provide reverse-engineering services and documentation to support business analysis. DOOR3 helped FreshDirect to expand operations of its online business as well as introducing a user-friendly mobile application for the busy, on-the-go consumers who commonly utilize the service. Today DOOR3 is FreshDirect’s mobile e-commerce partner of choice, offering ongoing strategic business analysis, mobile strategy and iPhone and Android development services and support.

Also bringing retail to mobile devices, DOOR3 leveraged cross-platform design and development expertise to develop an iPhone application used in retail associate training for leading global athletic products company New Balance. DOOR3 supported Beyond the Rack, a private shopping club for women and men who want designer brand apparel and accessories at prices up to 70% off retail, in the launch of mobile applications to enable mobile purchasing during limited-time shopping events. Additionally, DOOR3 also partnered with global prestige beauty company Elizabeth Arden to build an iPad application that served customized, targeted, high-value content to client executives that drove participation and brand awareness.

Delving into social media integration on both web and mobile devices alike, DOOR3 has also completed projects for global beauty brands Clinique and Bobbi Brown. Both companies sought to streamline integration of internal content management systems with social media outlets, something that required code-based support which DOOR3 could deliver. Bobbi Brown continues to work closely with DOOR3 to navigate through new and emerging technology challenges.
